Alan D. Aronson
Alan D. Aronson was a founding member of a prominent Los Angeles real estate boutique law firm and has been representing real estate clients throughout the country for over twenty years, with special emphasis on retail and restaurant leasing and acquisition.

Representative Transactions Include:

  • Mixed-use projects including hotel, office and residential complexes incorporating retail elements

  • Retail leasing for national and regional tenants, including "big box," neighborhood center tenants, regional mall tenants and entertainment/lifestyle center tenants

  • Redevelopment projects involving multiple governmental agencies

  • Complex sale-leaseback transactions

Alan graduated from the UCLA School of Law and received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Stanford University.

Katherine H. Light
Prior to co-founding the firm, Ms. Light practiced exclusively commercial real estate law, including for several years at one of the largest real estate law firms in the United States where she gained a broad range of real estate experience. Katherine specializes in commercial real estate leasing, financing, acquisition and disposition


Representative Transactions Include:

  • Complex retail leasing in redevelopment projects, entertainment/lifestyle centers, regional malls and stand-alone sites

  • Multi-party assignment and assumption agreements

  • Office leases

  • Wind farm leases

  • Representation of lenders in the financing of construction projects and land purchases

  • Resolution of complex title issues


Katherine graduated from UCLA School of Law with a Specialization in Business Law in 2000 and received her undergraduate degree with Honors from the University of California at Davis, phi beta kappa in 1996.
